I am here to hold space for new mothers encouraging you to tap into  your inner strength and resilience, by empowering  you to make choices that are right for  you and your family, and to trust in  your own instincts and abilities. My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and supported during this transformatIve time in your  liIfe.

 

The postpartum period is an incredibly transformative time. It is a time of change, growth, healing, and adaptation to a new role. Whether it’s navigating the physical and emotional changes that come with childbirth, adjusting to a new routine, or dealing with sleep deprivation, working together this journey can be a M.A.G.I.C.A.L one.

M- MINDFULNESS 

Mindfulness is being present in the moment, paying attention to your thoughts and feelings, and being aware of your surroundings. It is being in tune with your body, your baby, and the world around you. Practicing mindfulness can help you manage stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall well-being.

A- Awareness

Awareness is being aware  of your own needs and the needs of your baby. It is being attuned to your baby’s cues and responding to them in a loving and nurturing way. Awareness of self and noticing changes in the  body as you heal.

G-Gratitude

Gratitude is being grateful for the little things in life. It is finding joy in the simple moments, and appreciating the love and support of those around you. Practicing gratitude can help you cultivate a positive mindset, reduce stress, and increase happiness.

I- Intention

Intention means setting goals and intentions for yourself and your family. It is  being intentional with your time, your energy, and your resources. It is also  being intentional with your self-care so that you can take care of others.

C- Connection

Connection is building connections with your baby, your partner, your family, and your support network. Creating a village of support around you and your family. Feeling connected to yourself after growing your baby 9 months

A- Affirmation

Affirmation means using positive self-talk to build self-esteem and confidence. Acknowledging your strengths and accomplishments, and focusing on your positive qualities.  Using  positive affirmations can help to build a positive mindset and overcome negative self-talk.

L- Love

Love  is nurturing your baby and family  through words,  actions, and touch. It is also about being kind and compassionate to yourself, and treating yourself with the same love and care that you give to others.

  During each coaching session we will dive deeper into each M.A.G.I.C.A.L value and apply it to your daily life.
Each session includes a postnatal yoga session and one on one time with me, where I will provide nonjudgmental emotional support, listening to thoughts and or feelings that may arise during this time.

We will also work through any emotional blocks that may be holding you back from feeling balanced and connected to your family.


 

Why A M.A.G.I.C.A.L. Postpartum journey?

A M.A.G.I.C.A.L. Postpartum Journey is one rooted in mindfulness. This is a beautiful and transformative time in your life and  it can be easy to disconnect from yourself.  With practices that connect the mind, body and soul, such as yoga, you will find more balance, and feel more connected.  

In addition to yoga, there are many other mindfulness practices that can help support a M.A.G.I.C.A.L. postpartum journey, such as meditation, journaling, and gratitude practices. It's important to find what works best for you and your lifestyle, and to prioritize self-care and mindfulness as you navigate this new chapter in your life.

You will receive support and guidance as you adjust to your new role as a parent. One of the main benefits of a postpartum doula is that we can provide emotional support during what can be a challenging time. We can listen to your concerns, offer reassurance, and help you feel more confident in your parenting abilities.

Physical support can include helping with household chores, running errands, and preparing meals. (When in person) Providing infant care, such as diaper changes and soothing techniques so that you can rest and recover. If you are breastfeeding, you can also receive lactation support and help you troubleshoot any issues you may be having.

The M.A.G.I.C.A.L. Postpartum Journey helps you to feel connected to yourself, When you are connected to yourself you feel more confident which can empower you to advocate for yourself and your baby.

Private Yoga and mindfulness sessions

You will get 11  private postnatal yoga and/or baby and me yoga classes individualized for you and your family.

1 Prenatal Visit

Assess your needs and desires for postpartum and establish a plan to ensure you have the support and resources you need to thrive during this special time.

The M.a.G.I.C.A.L Lifestyle Process

11 virtual  postpartum sessions with non judgmental emotional support , listening and helping to process both parents birth story. The M.A.G.I.C.A.L. Lifestyle process will aid in facilitating this support.

Partner Support/Sibling Support

Support for the emotional adjustment to parenthood In their new role and their transition in their relationship with their partner. Support for older siblings as they adjust to new baby.

Having a trained professional who provides emotional and physical support to new parents during and after childbirth. Doulas can help new parents process the changes that are happening in their lives and provide reassurance and encouragement when they need it most.

 

 

 

Breastfeeding sUpport

A doula can offer guidance and support with breastfeeding, helping you find the best position and latch for you and your baby. They can also answer any questions you may have about breastfeeding, such as how often to feed your baby and how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk. .

 

 

 

Partner and Sibling Support

Postpartum doulas are professionals who can help make this transition smoother. They understand the needs of the entire family and are trained to provide physical, emotional, and informational support. One of their primary roles is to help the family adjust and settle in after the arrival of the new baby.
